Buzz gotten written up again at YMCA yesterday so he gets to stay the day at Esme and Alice’s. I had wanted to avoid having Esme watch him because of her attitude towards him but she has her niece staying with her so I am hoping this may help a bit.
I chickened out on going to Bastille Day with Jasper by myself. I am deathly afraid of driving into the big city by myself so I invited Cherry to come with us. I haven’t told her yet, but I hope she doesn’t mind driving my mini-van into the city. LOL. I am hoping Jasper sleeps on the way home because after we drop Cherry off we are heading to a local park so Jasper can play with his new cousins. My niece has been asking about him non stop so my older sister thought we should set something up.
I am apprehensive that the fun day I have planned with all three boys tomorrow will be disastrous. The few times I have taken them all out by myself tend to be pretty successful but they are usually short trips. I have never made a day of it. I think I am going to take Buzz aside and let him know that since he is the oldest that I really need his help and support to make this day successful. When he gets in the mindset of being an older brother and helpful son he is amazing so I am hoping a pep talk may help. I might even let him make some decisions on where we are going to eat so he feels like he is part of the plans and will want them to be successful.
On my blog ‘Boy’s update’, Nicole at ‘Not the Usual Ticking Clock…’ suggested that I try tapping with Buzz. I had heard several success stories about this method on other blogs but for some reason never really thought of it as an option for Buzz. I am going to do some serious research on this tonight. Does anyone have any website suggestions?

There are tons of websites, but I'm not sure what is the best one. Some label it tapping, but it's also referred to as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
Many focus on certain points like the hands and face, but I've had it done with the tops of my legs in a sitting position.
You might want to email Lisa and ask her for the best website:

Another suggestion would be to find a therapist in your area that uses EFT (tapping) and get him a session and ask if you could sit in and watch the technique. I think that the best way to learn would be to see it in person. You would see how it works and the emotions that come up and learn how to respond to that.
